The main body of the brake shoe is made from a special die-cast aluminium alloy before having the new “Prorace” friction material applied. The new compound has exceptional characteristics that offers considerable improvements in braking performance with a 30% increase in stopping force resulting in a 25% reduction in braking distance. Proven to improve safety in city traffic thanks to its high resistance to brake fade, and particularly suited for racing scooters that see repeated and heavy braking forces.
