Malossi Vespa Crankcases

Now available in both PX125/150/166/178/187 small block and P200/210/221 large block varieties, and both types are available in either standard rotary valve inlet or reed valve inlet, they come ready ported to match Malossi cylinder kits, and have been redesigned and strengthened in all vital areas. All Malossi casings are secured by upgraded M8 Allen bolts, replacing the loose M7 D bolts used by Piaggio on original casings, and Malossi have altered the casing so they no longer use a gasket to seal the two half’s, a weakness that has caused many motors to suck oil, now the mating surfaces on the Malossi cases are now to be sealed with a high temp silicone sealant, Malossi suggest Loctite blue silicone. The reed valve version comes complete with a reed valve manifold featuring a reed block equivalent in size to a 6 petal block ready to fit a 28mm or 30mm carb into. On the reed valve version the inlet port is no longer directly over the crankshaft, it has been moved forward so it feeds in front of the crank, making for a smoother less interrupted fuel feed. see more at www.ve-uk.com/malossi/]]>
