The Casatronic variable ignition kits from Casa Lambretta has a 2.7kg flywheel which is a one piece constriction to prevent magnets breaking up, a problem which affects some other ignition kits on the market. The ignition has built in advance and retard, which will adjust the ignition timing closer to top dead centre as the revs increase and retard the timing away from top dead centre as the revs decrease, this gives stronger pull away at low revs and lets the motor rev more freely at the higher revs. Combined with a high power 12 volt output these make a great upgrade to any Lambretta.
